The fish and the rod

Alex G.’s telling of the old saying, with the part that was missing: why teaching the method is not enough, and what handing over the rod means.

This is the mission of AaSS (Agent as Software Solution), in Alex G.’s own words.

The telling

You know the old saying, right?

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach them to fish and you feed them for a lifetime. But teaching is not enough: without the rod (the tools, the hooks, the line, the whole setup) they know how to fish and still go hungry. We teach the method and hand you the rod, setup and all.

And I say it this way for a reason. A lot of courses teach you how something works and stop there. You finish knowing the theory, and you still can’t do it, because you don’t have the right tools, setup and all. We want to do it differently. In the community I teach you the method, and I give you the rod: the real software from my own businesses, ready to run, with its agent attached, and the templates and the prompts that go with it. And think about it: this is the same move we made with SaaS. We took a famous thing, we changed it a little bit, and we made it ours. That’s AaSS.

The rod, in plain words

  • The actual software from Alex G.’s own businesses, ready to run, with its agent attached.
  • The templates.
  • The prompts.

The community lives at AaSS.community.
